All the realized souls bring home the same thoughts, though look to have walked different roads.

Sirr-e-Akbar (The great secret)
Something Beautiful for God
-inspired by Saint Teresa of Calcutta
“I have not the courage to force myself to seek beautiful prayers in books; not knowing which to choose I act as children do who cannot read; I say quite simply to the good God what I want to tell Him, and He always understands me.”
Dissolving the self
– Shri Vinod ji Agarwal
No doubt, [our hearts] are already empty of creatures, but, alas, I feel mine is not entirely empty of myself, and it is for this reason that Jesus tells me to descend. – Saint Therese of Lisieux
– Shri Vinod ji Agarwal
“No one is going to force me to be holy. It lies in my own hands.” – St Teresa of Calcutta
Khotta na reh jaaoon
“I desire to become humble and humiliations are my sweetest sweets.”
“Penetrate and possess my whole being so utterly that my life may be only a radiance of Yours. Shine through me and be so in me that every soul I come in contact with may feel Your presence in my soul. Let them look up and no longer see, but only Jesus!”
– Shri Vinod ji Agarwal
“In that prayer, God cannot deceive you because that prayer comes from within you. That is the time when you want Him the most.” – St Teresa of Calcutta
“Please pray for me that I be only all for Jesus through Mary.”
He longs for you
“Jesus wants me to tell you again.. how much love He has for each one of you.. beyond all that you can imagine.. not only He loves you, even more- He longs for you. He misses you when you do not come close. He thirsts for you. He loves you always, even when you do not feel worthy…. “I thirst” is something much deeper than just Jesus saying “I love you.” Until you know deep inside that Jesus thirsts for you you can’t begin to know who He wants to be for you. Or who He wants you to be for Him..”
“There exists but one Being capable of comprehending love; it is Jesus; He alone can give us back infinitely more than we shall ever give to Him.”
– To love
Aashiqui ka hunar
“Mother had the spiritual joy… It is overwhelming for us to think how she could continue with a pleasant countenance and with such single-mindedness to cling to Jesus her one and only love, without her letting us ever know what she was going through.”
If I have Him
“I can do without all the rest if I have Him, Fear not for me -nor for those who will join me. – He will look after us. He will be with us He will do all.”
For desolate souls
“God hid behind His gift of frustration , and emptiness. Was God hostile too? … Impossible. God was just, whatever His designs for desolate souls. There would be a time when He would fill what He had emptied…”
“One feels rejected and abandoned by God. The virtues of faith, hope and charity are severely tried. Prayer is difficult, almost impossible; spiritual counsel practically of no avail. By means of this painful purification, the disciple is led to total detachment from all created things and to a lofty degree of union with God, becoming a fitting instrument in His hands.”
“True love is surrender. The more we love the more we surrender. … For by giving the little we possess, we give all- and that there is no limit to the love that prompts us to give. To give oneself completely to God is to be His victim- the victim of His unwanted love.”
– A victim
“The lord ls having His own game- I give what He takes.- I am happy with whatever pleases Him best. I accept whatever He gives. ”
“It is the contact of intimate longing for God. Nothing else can fill her mind. Such a longing is possible only through God’s hidden presence. We can not long for something that is not intimately close to us.”
“I desire no sensible consolation in loving; provided Jesus feel my love that is enough for me. Oh! to love Him and to make Him loved…how sweet it is…”
The joy of suffering
-Shri Vinod ji Agarwal
“Is there a joy greater than that of suffering out of love for You, My God?” – St Therese of Lisieux
That I may live in one Act of perfect Love …. I may become a very martyr of Thy Love, O my God! May this martyrdom, having first prepared me to appear before Thee, break life’s thread at last, and may my soul take its flight, unretarded, into the eternal embrace of Thy Merciful Love..
Pangs of love
“Pray for me – for the life within me is harder to live. To be in love and yet not to love. To live by faith and yet not to believe. To spend myself and yet be in total darkness.”
Allah ki mohabbat
On being able to experience His love, nothing else remains to be sought.
Bina prem dhiraj nahi
– Song from the movie ‘Swami Vivekananda’ (1998)
Satguru’s love teaches the mind to be patient and his separation makes it renunciant (because vairaag implies ‘vishesh raag’ causing disconnection from the rest).
Zindagi khaak na thi
The most desired time of life ‘dearly’ passed in the blink of an eye.
